Edwards is smart to take his time before he makes an endorsement--since neither candidate upholds all of his plans and ideals--and an endorsement from Edwards is a sure WIN! Better yet, put him on the ticket if they want to GUARANTEE a win! (Maybe Attorney General?)
I'd rather see him as PREZ but...I'd rather have a Democrat any day than a right-wing Repug.
Edwards is in a class by himself--GO EDWARDS!
ps/Yet more disappointing news--that this blog be discontinued Tuesday...what about the whole site?

The John Edwards for President blog will go offline tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12th.
Before that happens, we want to thank you one more time for your support, participation and enthusiasm. It has been a huge part of our campaign, and we could not have imagined it any other way.
Elizabeth has called blogs "the new town squares" and bloggers the "modern day pamphleteers." With that thought in mind, we hope that you will continue to blog, chat, debate and discuss the issues that are important to you, and to our country, even if it is in a different square.

When asked about the AP report that Obama and Edwards meeting is not happening today, the Obama campaign told us to talk to the Edwards camp. However, when pressed, they said it wouldn't be inaccurate to report that the meeting will not happen today or tomorrow.
A source close to Edwards confirms that the meeting has been canceled. But the source doesn't know the reason behind it; it could be something as simple as a scheduling conflict
