Why is the press so impressed with this person? He never gets asked a tough question. He reminds me of another lightweight — John Edwards.

Both one term senators. Big deal. Where are these two men’s answers to the issues of the day?

When was the last time this country elected a member of the senate much less a one term senator?

Obama gets free ride because he’s black and Edwards because he’s pretty.

Why does the press think their **** doesn’t stink?
Hee Hee. I already read both of Bernie Goldberg’s books Arrogance and Bias. Bias was the better of the two.

AND his family through the dirt? John Edwards wife is having a hard enough time with her cancer to have to deal with 24/7 news about her husband’s affair. If she is willing to forgive him and continue the marriage, is it really any of our business?
Obiviously, we consider his character when we go to the polls, but I don’t think his family’s wishes are any of our business.

This photo taken Aug.17, 2010 shows Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes at his campaign headquarters in Englewood, Colo. Dan Maes' murky past in law enforcement in neighboring Kansas has become the latest distraction in his gaffe-ridden campaign. Maes has claimed he was fired by the police department in Liberal in the 1980s because police and politicians were corrupt, and told supporters that he worked undercover for state investigators gathering information on a local bookmaking ring. But the Kansas Bureau of Investigation denies Maes ever worked for them, and Liberal's police department won't talk about Maes. Wednesday happened to be the first anniversary of the death of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy . That has nothing to do with Snohomish County, but it brings to mind the sometimes troubled intersection of politicians' public and private lives.
