I mean even Senator John Edwards wife has joined the fray, and went on record to say that she was appalled at what Rush said. She did not hear him say anything. She was just speculating from what she heard from Rep. Harry Reid and Tom Harkin. Do we really want leaders who verbally assassinate citizens without the substance to back up their rhetoric?

When I think of what John Edwards means to me, these three words come to mind: Experience, Vision, Leadership. When I listen and watch his speeches online, my heart inflates with hope and I get chills up my spine. Edwards makes me believe in my country and the amazing possibilities that lie ahead for the first time in many years. We absolutely need someone in the White House who is inspirational and willing to go the distance. Someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Someone prepared to step in and deal with this mess we’re in.
